DANIELLA ARCE

My name is Daniella Arce, I am a senior at Florida International University, and a Liberal Studies major, in a pre-health pathway. My dream has always been to join the medical field and be at the forefront of medicine. I believe that the importance of early detection and treatment of illnesses is being underestimated in many areas, and I want to make this change, and this way make an impact in people’s lives that could lead to them living longer, healthier lives. I grew up in Costa Rica, where I realized that there was a staggering lack of medical professionals throughout the country, and this was mind-boggling to me. As a result, my plan is graduating with my bachelor’s degree, to then apply to the Physician’s Assistant program.
